Our Trade Show and Conference attendance solution allows the show’s host to be able to keep track of attendees by room and their purchases. It allows for multiple gate keepers to collect data in a batch environment and synchronize back to one PC database. This allows the host to manage the customer data.
Tags are printed using the PDF417 bar code symbology and the bar code data is formatted to organize the data in such a way for our application to be able to easily organize the data for the host.
The formatting also tells our program who is a preferred visitor and who is just a visitor that way preferred customers can get special treatment and privileges.
This application was written for the Windows Mobile
environment for the Symbol MC50. This
device has a 1D 2D imager which makes it a lot easier to read the PDF code than
using a laser.
