DataMan ID readers are optimized to ensure continuously high read rates of 1D and 2D symbologies in direct part mark and label-based identification applications, on the fastest production lines. This allows DataMan readers to deliver the industry’s most reliable code reading. Models are available for all fixed-mount code reading applications.

IDMax handles a wide range of degradations to code appearance that result from dramatic degradations in DPM code quality due to differences in material types and surfaces. IDMax is available with the Dataman 200X model.

software allows fast, high-performance reading of high-quality 1D and 2D codes, as well as low contrast codes on uniform backgrounds. The DataMan 200S, 200Q, and 200X models incorporate the IDQuick decoding software.

Mega Pixel Processing
Mega Pixel processing allows for reading multiple small, high density codes or long 1D codes. Dataman can read down to 5 mil high density codes and can decode many symbols within the field of view in a single read capture. Differenc Lenses are available.
Compact Shape and Size
Dataman is the world’s smallest high performance imager, measuring 1” (30 mm) height x 1.8” (30 mm) width x 2.10” (60) length and weighs less than 2 ounces (57 g). The short height is especially useful for fitting in small spaces under conveyors and the light weight for mounting on robotic machinery.
Wide Field of View
High resolution zero-distortion optics, diffractive full field illumination, and a wide scan window allow linear and 2D codes as large as 2” (50.8 mm) square to be read as close as one inch (25.4 mm) with optional right angle mirror.
Dynamic, Omni-Directional Reading
The Dataman decodes linear bar codes or 2D codes omni-directionally in moving applications at speeds up to 500 feet per minute.
High Data Level Output
2D codes can have a high level of data capacity. Dataman maintains high decode rates to process and output large amounts of data in milliseconds allowing for quick ‘back to back’ reading of products.
Push-Button Trigger
The Dataman 200 has a push button trigger to help with setup. If the I/O for your project is not implemented, you can setup the reader using the trigger button and not change the trigger settings.
