DataMan 700 Series readers are the newest addition to
the family of Cognex high-performance ID code reading
products. The DataMan 750 model is ESD safe, and features
award-winning Cognex IDMax® code reading software.
The DataMan 710 reader is a general-purpose 2D reader
that uses the Cognex IDQuick™ reading technology.
Compact size and ergonomic design make the 700 Series
exceptionally easy to use, while the rugged design ensures
long-term operation in industrial environments.
DataMan ID readers are optimized to ensure continuously high read rates of 1D and 2D symbologies in direct part mark and label-based identification applications, on the fastest production lines. This allows DataMan readers to deliver the industry’s most reliable code reading. Models are available for all fixed-mount code reading applications.

(Model 750)…handles a wide range
of degradations to code appearance that result from dramatic
degradations in DPM code quality due to differences in material
types and surfaces. The model 750 is ideal for reading 1D and
2D codes in the electronics and semiconductor industries.

well as low-contrast codes on uniform backgrounds. The
model 710 provides exceptional performance on labels and

products. Point-and-click configuration, a display of the image
that DataMan sees, a display of results (decoded images and

and complete user interface available. USB and RS-232 interfaces

The Dataman 700 Series has plenty of depth of field. But, like the Dataman 100 fixed reader, the lens can be manually adjusted to fit your application's depth of field.
Push-Button Trigger
The Dataman 700 Series has a push button trigger for your thumb in a form factor ergonomic position that makes it easy to hold the reader steady over the image and pull the trigger. On a good read the clear window around the button lights up in green. Along with a beep and a vibrate, the green light makes it easy to determine a good read if you're in a loud environment.
