Dynamic 2D Reading
Cognex has high speed shutters that can accomplish this task. We use their Softwarwe Development Kit tools to seemlessly connect to the camera to get results in milliseconds. Store images, fire outputs, interface with operators or whatever is required.
Postal Code Reading
We've implemented several systems reading postal codes and integrated into legacy document handling software. These systems have allowed our customers to take advantage of price breaks from the USPS, improve document traceability, and eliminate unreadable codes.
Part Inspection
100% inspection can be 100% effective with the proper vision system setup. Pattern matching, missing components, missing features - these can be inspected with the proper camera system. Images can be captured and stored, inspection results logged, and operator feedback provided.

Part Inspection
This application uses a DVT camera and our Windows based software to inspect parts in an assembly process.We inspect the part, compare the image to a known database of good and bad images, and stop the process if there is a problem. If there is no problem, then the operation keeps running. Fixturing is not as critical because of the inspection algorithms of the DVT unit allow the image to be located off of special features instead of a fixed spot. All devices can connect and run on your local network infrastructure or we can create a dedicated network.
Postal Code Reading
This application uses a Cognex camera and our Windows based software to read postal codes being stuffed into envelops by a Bell & Howell machine. We read the postal code, perform a lookup in the database, and diverts the document if there is a problem. If there is no problem, then the document keeps going.
