with a three-day in-house turnaround and a four-hour response time for
escalated support calls. Or, you can upgrade to the Gold service plan for a
two-hour response time for support calls and advance replacement — including
configuration, loading of your applications, and charging of the battery so
your replacement units are ready to go, right out of the box. Whichever plan

time is vital to your needs. We ship you a replacement unit within 24

Expedited Contract
The Expedited support agreement provides quick turnaround for scanners shipped
to Microscan repair. Scanners are repaired and tested
within 3 to 5 working days.
Standard Coverage Contract
This no nonsense contract provides unlimited coverage subject to our standard
depot repair schedule. It's a good option for those who like the idea of being
fully protected yet don't require expedited service.
Terms and Conditions
Microscan service contracts cover all parts and labor
necessary to make your equipment fully operational. All returns must occur
within the time period called out in the contract. The contracts do not cover:
- failures caused by alterations in the equipment, accidents, neglect, or misuse,
- failures caused from failed or inadequate environmental conditions (these
include, but are not limited to, electrical power, air conditioning, and
humidity control), or
- any failure caused by conditions beyond ordinary use, including a customer's
failure to provide and maintain a clean operating environment or to follow the
instructions set forth in the Microscan user's manual
detailing how to properly clean and operate the equipment.
