This 2nd generation interface box has been improved and will replace the 200 series by the end of 2007. This box allows any Microscan reader to become ethernet capable.

easy connectivity option.

Microscan ESP version 3.8 adds a nice way to configure the box.
Information Display
The optional display is ultrabright
and easy to read. Two
lines of decoded information
can be displayed.
I/O Indicators
The front panel on the
MS-Connect provides visual
confirmation of performance.
Multiple colors are used for
easy recognition.
Real-time Controls
The inputs include a trigger
signal and a “new master”
input.
Clear Wiring Path
Wiring to the appropriate
terminal block is easily
accomplished, due to the
access holes and a clear
area located between the
terminal rows.
Relay Modules
The MS-Connect includes
optional relay modules to
allow for greater use of the
external devices including
light stacks.
Illumination Chamber
The chamber is specifically engineered to produce the illumination angles required by the ISO/IEC 15415 standard.
Additional Power & Backup
The MS-Connect includes
the option to power three
additional readers. It also includes
internal connections
for a handheld reader that
can be used as a backup.
Convenient Access Holes
Four access holes located
on one side of the box allow
users quick, easy, and clean
wiring of inputs and outputs.
