Overview
The Yellow Machine Terabyte Storage Appliance is a one-of-a-kind product that changes the way consumers and small businesses protect, share and manage their digital content. Built on breakthrough SoC (System on a Chip) technology, the Yellow Machine appliance integrates failsafe storage with a full suite of networking and security features.
The shoebox-sized appliance provides sharable and manageable storage for data intensive activities including backup of multiple PCs, automatic archiving of e-mail, precious photo, video, and audio archives, and business-critical working files. The compact footprint includes a Router, Double Firewall, 8-port Ethernet Switch, Auto-backup, and Web Access Control. This affordable appliance ships pre-configured for RAID 5 and includes an easy-to-use set-up wizard and powerful browser-based management software.
With RAID 5, your data is saved even in the event of a hard drive failure. If a hard drive fails, the appliance continues to run uninterrupted. Once the drive is replaced, the system rebuilds itself in the background while continuing normal operations.
